I had the great opportunity to direct my first music video in the middle of 2023 at the age of 19. It was challenging and had its ups and downs, but I learned a lot that will help me in the future. This opportunity has given me a taste of the creative potential of video and opened up a whole new universe of possibilities for me. While collaborating with the Italian-Egyptian-Tunisian rapper "Ziyou," I attempted to incorporate elements of the Egyptian folk styles prevalent in the area around Giza city. I tried to mimic Ziyou's musical style and tempo while incorporating details about the Shaabi cult's routine. The result was a music video titled "Guardo La Moon," which portrays Ziyou's perspective as he travels across the city. This was just the beginning, and I can't wait to see where my career in music videos goes from here.
